The blue piece of knotted string used to map out the three day walk for that the Shanks' Pony Crew would do whilst shooting Streetsweeper. From right to left, each the knot represents the distance covered in each day. The total length of the string equals a distance of roughly 20 kilomteres: from Nobby's Beach, on the Pacific Coast, NNW, through suburban Newcastle to the Hexham Bridge over the Hunter River, NSW.
